Q: I'm getting Access Denied when installing this driver, what's wrong?
A: You need Administrator priviledged when installing and uninstalling
Q: How to use this plugin codec?
A: You are simply have to install it and use our softphone to make and receive call. Make sure vidocodecmanager.exe is running.
Q: Is this codec is standard codec?
A: Yes this codec developed according to ITU-T G.729 standard.
Q: Can I use this codec with free Xten softphone or another softphone?
A: No. This codec only works for softphone that is developed using Microsoft RTC sip. Microsoft RTC is quite well known and easy API to build SIP based application.
Q: What RTC version this codec support?
A: From RTC version 1.2 and above.
Q: Can I use this codec for non Voip application, like audio conversion only?
A: Yes. This codec can be use only for encoding and decoding. Any other application can utilize this codec, not always voip application.
Q: Is this codec come with G.729 license?
A: No. You're buying only G.729 implementation library. For G.729 license please contact authorized G.729 licensors.
Q: My softphone show connected but no voice coming in nor out.
A: Make sure vido codec manager application is running. If your trial license expired uninstalling this driver will restore previous setting. If the problem still persist even you have uninstalled this driver and using different codec please contact our support.
Q: How do i set G.729 codec in 1st priority of my RTC application?
A: RTC SDK will set the best codec to use automaticly. For more information how to set codec order in SDP please refer to RTC SDK documentation.
Q: I want to buy volume license and want to lock this codec for my softphone only, can you do that?
A: Yes, we're giving SDK to lock this codec. Please contact our support for more information.
